Yes. The staff member should have assured the parent that a conversation to the parents/guardian of the biter is under way and if the biting continues the child will be moved to another class or dismissed from the center.

If you haven't had training in the Early Learning Guidelines, then you might want to google Oklahoma Early Learning Guidelines. This is what good curriculum is built on. It is also required for 2 star and above centers in Oklahoma.
